Birthday dinner
Hi Drew, My wife and I dined at Lumiere last month for her birthday. I just wanted to let you know that even after almost a month has passed, we still talk about how wonderful that evening was. This is of course thanks to you and the rest of the wonderful staff at Lumiere. I really appreciated the fact that you were so willing and able to go that extra bit to help make the evening perfect. Memorable event
Dear Chris, On behalf of all of the Chaine members that attended the dinner last night, thank you so much for a most enjoyable dinner. From the feedback that I have received, everyone had a wonderful evening and as you could tell at the end, many were reluctant to leave! Chef Dale and his brigade prepared a phenomenal meal for us, and together with the delicious canapés, creative dessert and petit fours it was a true Chaine event. The serving staff under the direction of yourself and Sommelier Kevin, were very attentive especially in their explanations of the menu and were most professional. It was also a wonderful surprise to receive the gift bags at the end of the evening , thank you for that added touch! Truly a memorable event! Dear Chris, You sure know how to pick'em as they say. We loved you at CinCin but we love you just as much at Lumiere. There are very few dining experiences where you have to say "WOW"! On that list is Four Seasons, Paris at George V and Lumiere! We both enjoyed our meals and we appreciate you taking care of all our dietary needs! Like he said, " Potatoes never taste like this! " I said, " I know but they do at Lumiere! Please extend my thank-you to the entire staff and Chef for making it a dining experience I will be sharing with my guests, family and friends! Truly Outstanding!
"A truly outstanding evening. My wife and I were in Vancouver for the weekend and this was truly the highlight of the visit. From the greeting at the door to the warm goodbye, everything was perfect, despite the wet weather. We chose to order from the special 3-course table d'hote menu which afforded us a nice variety as well as a Poplar Grove wine pairing. We also added a supplementary cheese course each. The spot prawn amuse bouche and the delightful mignardises of warm citrus madeleines completed an unforgettable meal. Highly recommended. Be sure to reserve well in advance."-- O.T.
